Peggy Lipon passes

Well Peggy Lipton has passed over due to cancer...she was 72.
Why is it worth a mention?
She was family -- on several levels.
Her family was Jewish from the Minsk area...original name LIPSHITZ... a descendant of the games Rabbinical line dating back 1000-years to the RASHI ...
Readers of "Grandpa was a Deity" and related works are familiar with the tangential connection to Shakespeare's "Merchant of Venice" -- specifically the real people the story is based on...including the Rabbi who was the "Jewish King of Poland" who was also a part of the Lipshitz ancestry, and was related to the real "Merchant".
Of course, the comedy element is found in "JONATHON'S POTUS COUSINS" WHICH is based upon Jonathon Lipton's connection to all the American Presidents...Jonathon is a Lipshits, he shares a great grandparent with Peggy...like her, he comes from a family of lawyers... in Penny's case a Harold named for a Harold... in Jonathon's case, the namesake Harold in his immediate line is a great uncle who was named for the same ancestral Harold.

Peggy is not a POTUS COUSIN, though, thanks to her marriage to Quincy D Jones, her daughter's are.  Yep...she married a Black man with White ancestors...And those ancestors for back so that the girls can claim (as every President to date can) William the Conqueror as their direct ancestor...And through him Charlemagne the Great.
Specifically, as with all the Presidents, the girls are connected to at least one of five sisters who were William's grandchildren.  It appears they have three of the sisters in their ancestry... Naturally, this also related them to the Queen of England...The
Another comic element...in terms of mixed race royality...they are also connected to Meghan and Harry... Each separately, and like the girls, the Duchessof Sussex is black, white, and Jewish...And a POTUS COUSIN independent of her PRINCE.  (Harry & Meghan are distant COUSINS in the same Royal lines).

Oh well...a cousin gone...RIP...

Rashida Leah Jones might not realize it, but she attended Harvard a bit before Jonathan's aunt...And has a birthday that's within days of another of his aunts.
