Another evening ... strange day

But we won't get into that ...

Nice thing ... just hitting next blog and seeing what is in the neighborhood ... to day it was gregnews ... series of images of Kerry + Kerry == wompa-wompa ... check it out ...

One of the things we are seeing – when in comes to having an American leader for the next four years, Kerry is not necessarily the best man for the job. The problem is, Bush is definitely the worst man.

Think of it this way. A pipe breaks in the house and the water destroys one room. No question, the room is a total loss and needs major contractor work ... But that’s a job for later – right now, we have the leak, the busted pipe and are in dire need of a competent plumber.

The one we have available immediately cuts the water to the broken pipe, puts his helper on keeping the values closed and the water off – while small leaks spring up here and there ... Does the plumber seal the broken pipe so it will never again spout water? NOPE! But he does have somebody watching for any sign of more water ...

Instead of sealing the leak at the cause, our noble plumber goes and cuts another pipe. Instead of seeking cut-off valves to assist and help prevent additional flooding ... our noble plumber tied the valves in there current position – or opened them wider – and then declared he didn’t need to consider the values at all.

The water floods out – plumber didn’t think about how he would stop the water after he cut the pipe ... he just declared the pipe dangerous and cut it. Now that pipe is gushing water in the cellar ... several helpers have drown and more are in danger as the water rises ... gee ... the plumber is adamant in his assertion that everything is fine. But instead of the water flow slowing ... it’s getting faster and heavier ... But the plumber promises it will be capped ... if he can figure out how to.

And so our tale goes on ... BUT HARK ... what’s this? Another plumber. But he too admits that it will take time to fix the damage – and he did tell your plumber it would be OK to cut the pipe ... only he had assumed, wrongly, that your plumber had the common sense to utilize the valves ... If you hire this new guy, he’ll get to work on the valves, try to undo the knots securing them, and, since the new guy has first hand experience with the dangers the helpers are facing, can offer real guidance where it is needed most ...

But gee ... you know your plumber, and you really hate to fire him ...

It’s a simple choice – turn your cellar into a swimming pool, or fire the incompetent plumber who broke the pipe and started the flood.

Hey guys! Where do you keep the bathing suits?....
